CORINA
Corina is a seasoned men’s hairstylist with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Known for her expertise in classic and trendy styles, she has mentored numerous apprentices and taught workshops on haircuts, beard trims, and hot shaves. A dedicated learner, Corina has attended classes with leading brands like American Crew, Reuzel, and STMNT, making her a go-to expert in styling and product knowledge. Whether you’re looking for a timeless look or a modern edge, Corina has you covered!
KELSEY
With over 13 years of experience in the hairstyling industry, Kelsey is a passionate men’s hairstylist dedicated to transforming the way men look and feel. Her expertise has earned her multiple awards and a position as a former national educator, traveling across the country inspiring fellow stylists and advancing the craft of men’s hairstyling. Whether working with classic styles or contemporary trends, Kelsey combines artistry with personalized service, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and refreshed.
HAILEY
Hailey is an experienced hairstylist with 15 years in the industry, specializing in all types of hair extensions and colour. With training from top brands like Redken, Bellami, Moroccan Oil, and American Crew, she combines expertise with creativity. Passionate about education, Hailey has taught extension classes and mentored apprentices, sharing her knowledge and skills to inspire the next generation of hair stylists.
DONNA
Donna has been in the industry since perming mullets was a daily service. With decades of experience and education to hone her skills, she was an owner of The Mensroom for 20 years. Donna pioneered the men’s grooming category by being the only men’s hair salon in 2002. As an American Crew All Star Educator, the entire team was pushed to take the exclusive training. With practice and supervision, The Mensroom earned 4 consecutive Consumers Choice awards for Haircuts in Northern Alberta. Donna is a proud and passionate member of The Modern Man team.

JONATHAN / Owner
Jonathan is a seasoned hairstylist with 25 years of experience in the industry. He owned a successful salon in Fort McMurray for 12 years before relocating to Edmonton in 2019, where he specialized in men’s hair at The Mensroom. Passionate about staying current with trends, Jonathan became frustrated with the limited options for men seeking consistent, high-quality haircuts. This drive led him to co-found The Modern Man with Taylor, aiming to provide a dedicated space for men to enjoy exceptional service and style.
TAYLOR / Owner
Taylor is a dedicated hairstylist with 13 years of experience and a co-owner of The Modern Man. Having spent her entire career at The Mensroom, she honed her skills through continuous education with American Crew and her mentors. Taylor has taught hot shave classes, mentored apprentices and contributed her talents to fashion shows, specializing in hair and makeup. With The Modern Man, she aims to uphold the legacy of high-quality haircuts and exceptional service that her clients cherish.
